
Larry Luk is the Head of Brand & Design at Localeur. In his role, Larry manages Localeur's brand presence and oversees creative strategy, writing, and content creation for the brand’s touch points such as Localeur Magazine as well as the company’s national partners such as Match.com, JetBlue Airways, and Lyft.
Most recently, Larry served as the Marketing & Communications Lead and Senior Designer at Son&Sons agency in Atlanta. During that time, Larry developed design, voice and strategy for clients such as Coca-Cola, Nike, Duke Alumni Association, Ponce City Market and the Kyle Korver Foundation.
Larry has always been interested in how youth movements and sneaker culture affect the mainstream. As a freelance illustrator and writer, he has partnered with Nice Kicks, Complex and Finish Line on sneaker-related projects including a storefront takeover of the Nice Kicks flagship storefront in Austin, Texas and international coverage of the adidas Copa 19+ and NEMEZIZ 19 boot releases.
His artworks, which include an ongoing collaboration with Spilled, have received press on Hypebeast, SneakerFreaker, The Hundreds Blog, amongst many notable sneaker culture outlets.
He received his undergrad degree from Emory University ('03) and later attended Portfolio Center's ('07) design program. He is now a member of the school's design faculty. He has returned to Emory as a creative professional guest speaker multiple times.
Larry appeared on the cover of Atlanta Magazine's May 2019 Issue "The Way We Work".
